Serious effects of plastic bags on our  environment: The effects of plastic bags on environment are really devastating.Plastic bags are non-biodegradable.The chemical structure of most plastic renders them resistant to many natural processes of degradation and as result  they are slow to degrade.Together these two factors have led to a wight prominenod  of plastic pollution. Plastic pollution can affect water-ways and oceans. Effect on human life; Toxic chemicals leach out of plastic and found in the blood and tissue of nearly all of us . exposure to them is linked to cancers, birth-defects,impaired immunity,endocrine disruption and other ailment.there have been claims that chemicals in plastic can leach into food or drink and cause cancer.in particular, there have been rumours about chemicals called Bis-phenol A (B.P.A)  and dioxins.
